Founded by filmmakers Deanna Milligan and Ramsey Fendall, Sublunar Films is a boutique production company based in Victoria, British Columbia.
In addition to providing production and post services for narrative, documentary and commercial films, we have a variety of equipment available for rent, with one of the largest inventories of Arriflex film cameras (16mm, super 16, 35mm) in Western Canada.
Ramsey Fendall is a cinematographer, producer, and editor.

Ramsey has worked as a director of photography on numerous short and feature length documentary and narrative films, as well as a variety of commercial projects. His camera credits include Seymour: An Introduction, directed by Ethan Hawke (Telluride, TIFF, NY Film Festival, 2014) Itzhak, directed by Alison Chernick (Hamptons, 2017) The Last Leatherman of the Vale of Cashmere (Telluride, TIFF 2016) Bodega ( SxSW 2019), BAM 150 (Tribeca, 2012), and Major Arcana (Raindance, Austin Film Festival 2018). When not behind the camera, Ramsey also works as an editor on documentary and narrative projects, including Moving Midway (New Directors/ New Films 2008) Skatopia: 88 Acres of Anarchy (Amsterdam 2009), and a Woman Like Me (SXSW, Hot DOCS 2015) directed by Liz Giamatti and Alexandra Sichel.
Deanna Milligan is a Canadian filmmaker
based in the Pacific Northwest. Deanna directed the award winning short genre film Lucid in 2020 that is currently screening worldwide at festivals including Fantasia (Montreal) , Fantastic Fest (Austin), Vimeo’s Short of the Week. Lucid won Best Short film and Critics Choice at the Apulia Horror fest, Audience Choice at the Short Circuit Film fest. Deanna was nominated for a Leo award for Best Director in 2021 for Lucid at the Leo Awards in Vancouver and at the Ethereal Horror Fest in Austin, Texas. Deanna directed the music video GOLD for Phoenix Lazare that was supported by the RBC/ Prism Prize/ Canadian Screen Academy. Kodak featured Gold in their social media as the piece was shot on Super 16mm along with her partner and collaborator Ramsey Fendall. Deanna is also an award winning actress with decades of experience in film and television.
She is currently taking a Sundance Collab horror genre screenwriting class with Owen Eggerton.
